jeffrey tambor jill solowayLEXIE CANNES STATE OF TRANS — Jill Soloway, the creator of the trans-themed TV series “Transparent,” won a Golden Globe for the best comedy television series Sunday night. Soloway has a trans parent and she dedicated her award to Leelah Alcorn, the trans teen driven to suicide by her conservative Christian parents. Jeffrey Tambor also picked up a Globe for his portrayal of a trans character “Maura Pfefferman” in the same series.
